Ayotomiwa Oladotun
Engineer-turned-Growth Strategist
Where it started
I studied metallurgical and materials science engineering, a discipline built entirely around understanding why systems behave the way they do under pressure, and how to engineer better outcomes from first principles. I didn't know it at the time, but that was marketing training.
The pivot that wasn't really a pivot
I moved into content and growth because I was genuinely good at making complex technical things legible. Blockchain mechanics, DeFi protocols, derivatives. I could write about them in ways that ranked and taught. Seven years across BeInCrypto, LBank, Dopamine Wallet, and now YEX Exchange.
But the further I got into growth, the more I realized the interesting work wasn't the content itself, it was the system behind it. What do we write? Where do we publish? Did it work? Those questions needed instrumentation, not instinct. So I built the instrumentation.
What I do now
I'm SEO Manager at YEX Exchange, running a full content operation across educational guides, market recaps, product tutorials, and campaign articles. The job is building the pipeline that decides what gets made, and the reporting that proves whether it mattered.
In parallel, through tomintech, I build the tools I wish existed: a modular SEO intelligence bot on GCP that pulls signals from seven sources and surfaces ranked content angles via Telegram; a structured off-page content system across Reddit, TradingView, and Medium; custom analytics dashboards for behavioral insights. Engineering applied to marketing.
